Why
Safety Railing is Necessary
Safety railing is something most industrial managers don't think
about until it's too late after an expensive piece of equipment
has been damaged or a worker has been injured. Production downtime,
equipment or building repairs, and workers' compensation claims
are all costs that can be reduced or avoided entirely by installing
protective safety railing.

Where
Safety Railing Should Be Installed
Factories
or Plants
When
installed in factories or plants, safety railing shields expensive
machinery and industrial hazards such as electrical equipment and
panels, gas and water lines, and high pressure lines from damage
by forklifts or other equipment. It can be used to protect plant
offices, walkways, loading docks, conveyor runs, and mezzanines
from damage, as well as prevent serious injury to personnel who
work in those areas.
Warehouses
When
installed in warehouses, safety railing provides a physical barrier
to guard valuable inventory from forklift or equipment damage, in
addition to affording the same protection to personnel and facilities
as when used in factories.
S.G.R. Double Safety Railing System / Benefits
For
heavy duty protection of personnel and facilities from damage to
vulnerable electrical
equipment and panels, gas and water lines, and high pressure lines,
we recommend the use of our S.G.R. Double Safety Railing System,
the optimal choice for strength and safety in hazardous situations.
Constructed of high-strength 12 gauge (Class A) steel and painted
in high visibility OSHA Safety Yellow, S.G.R. Double Safety Railing
corrugated steel sheet beams conform to A.A.S.H.T.O. M180 standards.
Galvanized surfaces are also an option.
Our S.G.R. Double Safety Railing System is available in standard
8' lengths with 28" high posts (TS 4" x 4" x 1/4"
cold formed structural steel). We can also custom manufacture a
double railing system to meet your specific needs.

Single Safety Railing System / Benefits
For
general protection of personnel
and machinery in work areas or walkways and to guard against building
structural damage from forklifts and other equipment, we recommend
the use of our S.G.R. Single Safety Railing System, the standard
choice for strength and safety.

Square Safety Railing System / Benefits
For
versatile, space-saving protection of walls,
racks, machinery
and personnel from forklifts and other equipment, we recommend the
use of our S.G.R. Square Safety Railing System, the cost-effective
choice for strength and safety.
Constructed of high-strength 4" x 4" x 1/4" tubular
steel columns, S.G.R. Square Safety Railing is welded to 10"
x 10" x 1/2" steel base plates and painted in high visibility
OSHA Safety Yellow. Column height can be varied from 6" to
48" high to meet your specific needs.
S.G.R Square Safety Railing is available in custom lengths to fit
any installation. Short lengths can be solid welded. Longer runs
can be assembled using our pre-drilled railings for easy installation
with no welding.
